Extended hours, now with more choice.

Extended hours has always been part of kindergarten at The City School. This year it is more flexible, so it can fit the needs of your child and your family: choose 3, 4 or 5 days a week, in English or in Mandarin, and join at any point in the year.

How it works

Led by our teachers, in our classrooms

Your child stays on after the K1 day with the teachers they already know, with additional specialist lessons. The extended day finishes at 14:30.

Pick the number of days that suits your family. You can add days at any time as your child settles in.

In English or in Mandarin

Choose a language for your child to be consistently immersed in.

Dates and joining

First day: Wednesday 19 August

Extended hours starts with the school year, on the first day of school.

Join at any time

Admission is rolling: you do not have to start in August. Join whenever it suits your family, and add days whenever you like.

How to register

Fill in the registration form

Register for extended hours. It asks for your child's name and teacher, the day you would like to start, English or Mandarin, and the days of the week you want. Any questions can be asked at the information session or the Hopes and Wishes meetings with teachers.
